At last! ;) Our SPRING CLASS SCHEDULE, PARENT PLACEMENT CHART, and STUDENT ROSTER forms are posted and available for you. (New moms - the Student Roster is password protected. The same username & password combo that you use to access the forum will open this file for you as well.)

January 10, 2008:

Welcome back new and returning families! HIGH Day's first Friday of the Spring Semester is just over a week away. Woo!

Just a few quick announcements. First, teachers, when you are planning your curriculum for the semester, keep in mind that February 15th there will be *no* regular classes. We'll be having our Valentine's/We Love Our Dads! party with games and fun and donuts (mmmmm, donuts), so please have your husband mark his calendar now. We'll be ending at around the regular time, so even if he can only get a half day off from work, he'd still be able to come for a visit that morning.

Speaking of curriculum planning, don't forget, we'll need a new EMERGENCY SUB PLAN from all our teachers. (If you have any questions about the plan, please CONTACT STEPHANIE.) Also, to help you get organized for the semester, Steph has created a great WORKSHEET FORM for you to use. You do *not* have to turn this in at HIGH Day, but we highly recommend you use it, to help you plan out how your semester will look.

Due to unfortunate site abuse by spam bots, we have had to password protect our application and re-registration forms. New and returning families, before filling out these forms, you will need to E-MAIL THE REGISTRAR for the password info. Sorry for the inconvenience!

October 17, 2007:

We have two new forms posted here on the site for you to use.

First, we now have an INCIDENT REPORT FORM for all teachers to use in case of incident or injury. (For instance, in the case of last week where a child was stung by a wasp.)

Second, is our new PARENTAL RELEASE FORM FOR UNACCOMPANIED ATTENDANCE. If you will be sending your child(ren) to HIGH Day under the supervision of another parent, you *MUST* have your child(ren) bring this form that day. Alternately, you may fill it out early in the event of a planned absence. Just be sure to include the date of actual attendance in the appropriate blank.

Both these forms will be available in the Mom's Lounge, if needed.

We're conducting a fire drill this coming Friday! It's very important that you review our EMERGENCY EVACUATION & FIRE DRILL PLAN ahead of time to familiarize yourself with our new procedures. Any questions can be E-MAILED TO JENNI.

August 22, 2007:

We've added a note to our HIGH DAY POLICIES about how we handle class cancellations.

In the event of inclement weather or other event, we will follow the Orange County School District's lead. Should the OCSD cancel classes on a Friday, we will as well. Otherwise, classes will be held as scheduled.

Please take a moment to review the policies if you haven't already done so.
