6. What is expected of me?
Each mom must be willing to teach a class in her area of specialty or expertise, whether that be music, art, physical education or whatever. Each mom is expected to assist or teach during two of the three class periods each Friday morning. A lighter load is assigned to those with new babies.

8. What do I do during my free period(s)?
During your free period(s) you get to visit with others in the Mothers’ Lounge and enjoy refreshments. This is a great time to share and receive information and encouragement.
9. What kind of classes will my children participate in at HIGH Day?
We work hard to offer classes that children want to take and moms want to teach. Some classes have included Sign Language, Art History, Music/Choir, Physical Education, Drama, Writing, Cheerleading, Florida History, to mention a few.
10. What if my child is not interested in one particular class that is offered? Can he sit out a class?
Unfortunately, no. In this case, we would kindly request that your child participate with a good attitude anyway.
11. What if my family is sick or has to miss a Friday?
These things do happen. If you have to miss, we ask that you find your own substitutes for planned absences. But because everyone is so crucial to HIGH Day, we request that you do your best to minimize absences.
