The following links are here to help you utilize the sources available on the world wide web but please keep in mind that they will take you away from the highday.net site. We have no control over the content of these sites or any changes that their owners/admin might implement. Purchase/Sell Your Used Curriculum:
While many people might think eBay is the best place to purchase or sell used homeschool curriculum, it unfortunately isn't. Without even providing advance notification to its members, during the summer of 2006, eBay made the decision to ban ANY and ALL teacher books - including those used only for homeschooling. Though the homeschool community protested this decision, eBay refused to back down and will yank any auctions of homeschool curriculum if they include teacher books, guides, materials, or manuals. In response, several homeschool curriculum auction and swap sites have sprung up. The following list is of sites that seem to be succeeding, but highday.net cannot verify their viability. Please research thoroughly any auction/selling/swap site you are considering using.
Teachers_Editions Yahoo Group - This group was created specifically because of eBay's lock-down. Though it says "Teachers Edition" in the name, it is for selling/buying any used homeschool curriculum.
The HSLDA Curriculum Market - After unsuccessfully attempting to get eBay to reverse its decision, the HSLDA created its own auction site. Anyone can sell curriculum here, but you have to be an HSLDA member in order to buy.
The About: Homeschooling Homeschoolers Trading Zone - a forum for curriculum want ads.
Homeschool Buy Auction Site - has homeschool curriculum, but also allows general items.
This Little Piggy Stays Home - another auction site created because of eBay. This one focuses mainly on homeschool materials but also allows for general items.
